- 10am Connemara, Galway Bay & Cong Tour: More FREE time to relax and experience the old way of life in rural Connemara. This tour travels along the coast of Galway bay. After a 2 hour stop at Kylemore Abbey & gardens the tour travels back along by Killary Fjord , Cornamona and Cong village. Returns 17:30pm approx
- 11:30am Connemara & Cong Tour: This later tour travels out by the leafy banks of Lough Corrib & Oughterard to Kylemore Abbey & Gardens. After a 2 hour stop at the abbey the tour travels along by Killary Fjord , Leenane ,Cornamona with a short stop in Cong village before returning to Galway 17:30pm approx

As we travel from Galway we take the scenic coast road along the coast of Galway bay. One can see across the bay the Burren and the Aran islands unfold. Our first stop is in the quaint fishing village of Spiddal often refered to as the 'Gateway to the Gaeltacht' to photo The Burren mountains, Galway Bay & the Aran Islands. Then the tour heads down to the Deserted famine village, an area heavily populated before the Great Famine. Travelling through the Connemara rugged landscape, the stacks of turf, the Connemara ponies and the old thatch cottages begin to unfold. Arriving at Maamcross, the tour stops for a short coffee break to visit the replica cottage used in the movie "The Quiet Man". An opportunity also to cimb up the 20 metre viewing tower to take advantage of the Connemara lakes and mountains.
Now we are entering the wild beauty of Connemara, mountains start to rise and there are vast open breath taking spaces in the Inagh Valley, a spectacular region that divides up the Twelve Bens mountains of Connemara. Arriving now at Ireland's most romantic building Kylemore Abbey & Gardens there is an opportunity to explore inside the abbey, neo-gothic church, mausoleum and Victorian walled garden . This is also the lunch stop on the tour and admission price to Kylemore Abbey and gardens is not included in the tour ticket. Dropping down into the village of Leenane where the film "The Field" directed by John B. Keane was filmed, Killary Fjord (Ireland's only fjord) unfolds. Here it is visible to see the salmon and mussel pots floating on the surface of the water where fish stocks are farmed all year round.
Heading back to Galway by Cong through the Maam Valley region an area of scenic and unsurpassed beauty, Lough Corrib lake unfolds amongst the Maamturk mountains. The tour makes a final stop in Cong where there is an opportunity to see Cong village home to Cong Abbey used as the location of the Quiet Man movie and Ashord Castle, Ireland's Premier five star Castle Hotel. The tour arrives back in Galway at 5:30pm approx.

The tour stops at Staundun’s gift & sweater wear shop in Spiddeal for tea/coffee & browse around, Deserted Famine village, Screeb waterfall, Killiary fjord & harbour in Leenane, Kylemore Abbey & gardens, Inagh valley, Replica of Quiet man cottage plus many more places of interest!
- Does the cost of the tour include admission to Kylemore Abbey & gardens? No! However entrance to both places is at a special reduced discount price compliments of Healy Tours. Entrance to Abbey & gardens is €7
- Can you get lunch on the tour? Yes! You can get lunch at Kylemore Abbey
- How long does the tour stop at Kylemore Abbey & gardens? The tour stops for 2hrs approx in high season and for 1hr 15mins approx in low season when gardens are closed. This is also the lunch stop as well.
- Where does the tour start from? The tours start at the Galway Bus Station (next to the Tourist Office) at 10am.
- Does the tours operate daily all year round? Yes, the tour operates daily all year round except Christmas day, St Stephens day & New Years day.
- How do I book a ticket for the tour? There are a number of ways! You can buy on –line at www.healytours.ie to get a 10% discount. Or you can buy your tickets at the Galway Tourist Office or on the coach. Please make sure you look for the Healy Tour bus to avoid confusion. Finally you can make a reservation by phone by calling 00 353 91 770066 and a seat/seats will be reserved for you in your name.
- Can I get picked up at my hotel/guesthouse in Galway on the morning of the tour? Yes we provide a free pick up service if you let us know on the previous evening or the morning of the tour
- Can I join the tour if I live/am travelling from Dublin? Yes! We can arrange to pick you up at the station when the train arrives into Galway. The tour returns to Galway at 5:00pm approx so you can connect with the evening train/bus back to Dublin
- Do I get a discount if I take the Burren & Cliffs of Moher Tour? Yes you get a 10% reduction on the second tour.

- What times do the tours return at? Both tours return at 5.15pm approx.
- What is the difference between the 10am and 11.30am tour? The 11.30am tour does not travel along the Galway Bay coastline.
