This Múscailt Arts Festival at NUI Galway invites all students, staff, alumni and the public to enjoy a week of art, music and performance on campus.The word Múscailt meaning to celebrate and inspire is the title of the celebrated spring arts festival hosted by the National University of Ireland, Galway. The  Múscailt has something for everyone in terms of music, Sculpture and photography, theatre.

Galway International Rally, sponsored by Colm Quinn BMW has a notable place in Ireland's road racing history, as it was the 1st round of the Irish Tarmac Championship which was first held in 1978. Today, the rally serves as the season opener for the championship. Please visit for more info

The Galway Continental Christmas Market will be making a return to the City Of The Tribes from Friday 21st November until Monday 22nd December 2014.

The Galway Continental Christmas Market received over 400,000 visitors last year and there were more than 50 wooden chalets located Eyre Square along with the Santa's Grotto, the German Bier Keller numerous other theatrical delights throughout the 3 week fair.

The 2014 Christmas Market is set to be bigger and better, with the addition of live performances and entertainment from Galway's top bands and DJs. Performers, puppet shows, storytelling, school choirs, carol singing together with charity and community events will also feature. Once again, Santa's Grotto will be run by local charities and the popular Bier Keller will be playing host to various events throughout the Market's duration. The 2014 Market will also feature artisan food products and Christmas gift ideas from both local and European traders. For more information see
